Lucknow: A member of the State Women's Commission, Priyanka Maurya, received a prank call from unknown individuals requesting her personal information. She reported the incident and filed a complaint at Krishnanagar police station. The complaint stated that the callers claimed to be associated with the chief minister's principal secretary and the DM of Unnao, asking for her personal details. The first call was received on Sept 9 at her residence in LDA Colony on Kanpur Road, where the caller pretended to be the DM's PA. A second call on Sept 30 identified the caller as the PA to the chief minister's principal secretary, again requesting personal information for an upcoming responsibility. Concerned about the situation, Priyanka took action by filing a complaint at Krishnanagar police station. DCP South Zone, Keshav Kumar, confirmed that an FIR has been lodged and a thorough investigation is in progress.
